Bohemian Style

Many couples prefer to express their creativity – the bohemian-chic wedding has never been more popular. And what great way to conjure its free-spirited essence and vintage charm than with fresh flowers?

For the Brides...

Go wild with summer colours in an opulent mix of shapes and textures, from orange protea and poppy-seed pods, to large flowers and delicate ranunculus.

Or, opt for a hand-tied posy with that wild and relaxed vibe. Flowers like daisies, poppies, thistles and cowslips can bring the Boho into a bouquet.

Tiaras and veils, a flower crown. Opt for a simple daisy chain or large blooms, such as roses and peonies, intertwined with luscious foliage like fern or ivy. Team with a mane of cascading ribbons or a loose braided up-do to complete the look.

For buttonholes, ranunculus and antique roses can be added with anything from rosemary, heather, lavender and thistles to succulents, poppy-seed cases or even wheat!

For the Decor...

A bohemian cake is all about rustic charm and elaborate decoration with fresh flowers, foliage – even butterflies – cascading down its tiers. Choose romantic and dreamy white anemones and dusky antique roses or go woodland incorporating moss, mushrooms and butterflies.

Tipis and yurts are the perfect alternative to traditional marquees and their wooden frameworks are just perfect for adorning with flowers. Use vines on the supporting beams with your favourite flowers and a long branch of birch along the head table with flowers arranged along its length. You can use peonies, roses, ranunculus and dahlias to create a beautiful effect.
