This stunning venue is the stage of this styled shoot inspired by medieval times, but full of dreamy details, it has a bold red styling, deep-dye wedding dress, juxtaposed against a historical backdrop. Our creative florist and stylist created, organised and styled this work. I wanted to create a warm and rich look for an autumnal wedding and while thinking about the colour palette, my thoughts travelled naturally to Morocco. Inspired by their use of rich colour tones, as well as their culture, I decided to do a photoshoot where all the elements would blend together to create exactly that feeling. After creating a mood board, I took it to a group of amazing wedding professionals and explained my vision. From the cake right through to the crockery, chairs and a series of relaxed luxurious arrangements where I mixed both fresh and dried flowers and foliage, my aim was to achieve the warmth and richness of this style.
This shoot was inspired by the ‘Ophelia’ paintings of John William Waterhouse and Richard Redgrave in the 1800s and their depictions of Ophelia’s youth, beauty, innocence, and relationship with nature. We really embraced that relationship with nature, with Molly wearing both a veil and gown covered in these stunning embroidered flowers. 📸@danidunnephoto Concept Designer, Planner & Director: @stephaniechristymakeup Venue: @aptonhall Planner & Venue Stylist: @laurenpedgeevents Photography: @danidunnephoto and @emont.photo Videography: @lewisadger Models: @mollyygardner and @alfie_boote Hair Stylist: @vickyjiggensmakeup Make Up Artist: @stephaniechristymakeup Florist: @sobloomingbeautiful Vintage Hair Accessories: @vintageadornments Bridal Dress: @hazaaroflondon Veil: @rebeccaannedesigns Ring: @tiffanyandco Perfume: @jomalonelondon Jewellery: @chezbec
